Monday afternoon, Officers responded to the 1600 block of East 14th Street in reference to a possible burglary. Dickson, 25, Homeless, was placed on a 24 hour hold with state charges pending. The suspect was later located and arrested for Stealing. When the victim let the suspect use the phone, the suspect left with the phone. The victim stated that a male, the suspect, had knocked on her door and asked to use her phone. Upon arrival, contact was made with the victim. Sedalia Police responded to the 900 block of West 5th Street Tuesday morning for a report of theft. The license plate has not been recovered, and no suspects have been identified at this time. Sedalia Police took a report of a possible burglary Tuesday morning that occurred at the Rub A Dub Car Wash, 810 West Broadway Boulevard. The phone was placed into evidence as found property. Wednesday morning, Tammy Lynne Chaney turned in a cell phone to the Sedalia Police Headquarters that was found in the area of Third and Kentucky. It was unknown where the dog came from, or where it went. Butterfield reported a brown pit bull had bit his knee before leaving the area. The dog bite had happened the previous day. Officers responded to the 200 block of South Moniteau Avenue Tuesday evening for a report of a dog bite. Nichole Dawn Hamline, 29, of Sedalia, was arrested on the warrant and transported to the Pettis County Jail pending a $10,000 cash only bond. A computer check was then performed by Dispatch, who confirmed the passenger had a felony probation violation warrant from Saline County on original charges of Leaving the Scene of an Accident. Officers spoke to the driver and a single passenger. The traffic stop took place in the area of North Grand Avenue and West Main Street. Tuesday night, Officers performed a traffic stop on a Ford passenger car, as the vehicle had expired registration. ![]()
